• 1994 – Released her multi-platinum self-titled debut album at age 15, establishing herself as a major new R&B artist through hits including I Wanna Be Down and Baby.
• 1996 – Became a television star in the title role of Moesha, which ran for six seasons and expanded her career beyond music.
